Ways to eat more fruits.


Fruits are very much essential for our healthy life, but most of us wont prefer eating more fruits in our life. Here we have certain ways to eat more fruits.

  • · At the breakfast top your serial with sliced banana, kiwifruits, fresh berries or dried fruits such as raisins or apricots and drink small glass of juice. Try something new like dried cranberries or sliced mango.
  • · Fill a cantaloupe or other melon with low fat cottage cheese.
  • · Carry single serving cans of unsweetened fruit for snack at work.
  • · Pack your briefcase, backpack or glove compartment with easy to carry fruits such as apples, pears, bananas, Clementines or dried fruits like raisins or apricots.
  • · Make a smoothie with yogurt, milk or soy beverage mixed with variety of fresh or frozen berries.
  • · Mix a bowl of low fat yogurt with fruit.
  • · Add 1 cup (i.e., 250 ml) fresh or frozen berries to pancake better. Top pancakes with apple sauce or rhubarb compote instead of syrup.
  • · In restaurant, order fruits as starters or dessert.
  • · Do not throw out overripe banana, peel and freeze them and use later for banana bread muffins.
  • · Add fruit such as apple, pears and mandarin orange sections to green salads.
